I’ve heard online marketers, coaches and other entrepreneurs ask an important question; When do you know you’re “successful”? To answer that with another question; What does success look like? For some people it may be the color green to represent a certain amount of money in the bank. For others, they may visualize a beach or mountain retreat. For others it may be a nice car or even an image of a happy family. My outlook is different however. To me that’s not “success” that’s what you do or have AFTER you achieve success.
Try to look at it another way. If you were fighting in a war that you were previously losing, at what point would you see and feel that you were winning? Not discounting the Law of Attraction (visualizing positive outcomes before they occur) at what point is it a success in reality?
Many times for me, it has been during those teeth-clenched, gritty, sleepless nights that I find out what success looks like. It’s what fuels me up for the next successful moment. It’s not always beautiful, or sunny, or even warm. But I KNOW when it happens and I want MORE of it.
